Liana Varano

Liana Varano is Vice-President Finance at CDPQ Infra. In this role, she supports the President and Chief Executive Officer with the subsidiary’s financials and accounting, including projects under development and under construction. 

Before joining the team, Ms. Varano held various executive positions at the engineering firm SNC-Lavalin, from 2015 to 2019. In particular, she was Financial Comptroller for the SNC Capital division, where she supervised the accounting and consolidation of public private partnership (PPP) investments. She also worked as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for InTransit BC, the automated electric public transit system linking the city of Richmond, the international airport and downtown Vancouver. 

Ms. Varano began her career in the Auditing Department at Deloitte where she was responsible for auditing public enterprises, including SNC-Lavalin, between 2006 and 2014.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from McGill University, and is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (CPA).
