Martine Rivard

Martine Rivard is a member of the Board and the Human Capital, Technology and Governance Committees of the Agropur cooperative. As such, she specializes in the organizational and operational transformation of companies, which creates a significant impact on efficiency and performance.

Ms. Rivard joined Agropur in 2021 and prior to that, was Chief Executive Officer, Employee Experience at VIA Rail from February 2021 to January 2023. During this time, she was also a member of the Board and Chair of the Human Resources and Governance Committee of Pelican International and a member of the Board of VIA Rail Canada. She also held the position of Chief Human Resources and Communications Officer at CSL Group (Canada Steamship Lines) from 2012 to 2019 and held the position of Vice President, Human Resources and Communications at Air Liquide from 2005 to 2012.

Ms. Rivard holds a bachelor's degree in industrial relations from the Université de Montréal and holds a Rotman Directors Education Program, Management and HR and Compensation Committee effectiveness certification from the University of Toronto – Rotman School of Management.
