Alto high-speed rail
Alto is a future high-speed rail network that is nearly 1,000 kilometres long in the Québec City–Toronto corridor.
Cadence is the group of companies selected as a private developer partner to be in charge of the design, execution and operation of the various project phases in conjunction with the federal Crown corporation Alto.
Cadence’s members include CDPQ Infra, AtkinsRéalis, SYSTRA Canada, Keolis Canada, SNCF Voyageurs and Air Canada.
Our role:
CDPQ Infra assumes the leadership of the Cadence consortium.

Current stage
The project is currently in the development and pre-construction phase, which is expected to last until 2029. At this stage, Cadence is working with Alto to refine the route, design and technical specifications for the future high-speed rail.
