Social acceptability

Social acceptability is a condition for a projects success, just like the economic and environmental criteria. This is why we have set up meetings to exchange and inform citizens throughout the REM project.

Open house events

We met with more than 16,000 members of the public during the planning phase in 2016 and 2017. The open house evenings allowed citizens to learn about the REM and to put their questions to the project experts.

Workshops

Municipalities, transport companies and interest groups regularly organize workshops. We also met with hundreds of experts prior to the project, including environmental groups and heritage specialists.

An ongoing dialogue

The exchange of information process will continue throughout the construction phase with information sessions, open houses and neighbourhood committee meetings.

A dedicated team

We have set up a community relations office with a dedicated team that serves various work sectors. Its mission is to inform local residents, answer questions and follow up on any complaints.
